Square Dance Day!

One of the reasons I really enjoy teaching Bellydance at Mendocino Folklore and Stockton Folkdance Camps is because I get the opportunity to participate in a variety of folk dances from around the world.   Surprisingly, one of the dancesI tried that tickled my fancy was  square dancing! I remember giggling my way through square dancing in fourth grade P.E. class, but I had no idea I’d enjoy it so much as an adult!  If you haven’t tried square dancing, now is the perfect time to start.  Celebrate National Square Dance Day November 29th!
